Tracking a Venezuelan-affiliated Vessel 'Pursued' by American Maritime Authorities

Our team is checking images and video circulated earlier today that depict the scene of a alleged vehicle-borne explosive blast that Russian officials state killed a high-ranking soldier in Moscow.
Officials in Russia stated that Lieutenant General Fanil Sarvarov was inside the car that exploded and that he later died of his injuries. A probe is currently ongoing.
The initial step to check the location of where the pictures were from relied on social media reports indicating the blast happened on Yasenevaya Ulitsa in the southern part of the Russian capital.
We used street-view imagery on Google Maps and the Russian search engine Yandex to corroborate the unique yellow hue of a nearby residential complex captured in the footage.
Identifying additional structures, lamp-posts and the road configuration verified where the footage were captured.
We also checked that the videos were new and that the images had not undergone digital alteration.
