Uche Fuels Comfortable Crystal Palace Win at Shelbourne.
Despite embarking on their maiden continental campaign, Crystal Palace are adapting at a rapid pace. Without star figures like striker Jean-Philippe Mateta and defender Daniel Muñoz, the Eagles departed Dublin with a comfortable win that all but secures them a place in the Europa Conference League playoffs.
A further three points in their next fixture against Finnish KuPS ought to be enough to seal straight passage to the knockout stages, especially following a prior stumble against Strasbourg.
Fringe Players Seize the Moment
This occasion offered a platform for some of Palace's lesser-used players to impress. Christantus Uche, making only his second beginning since arriving on loan from Getafe, opened the scoring with a clinical finish. Forward Eddie Nketiah added a second, scoring for the second game in succession.

The only concern for Palace was a second-half injury to Justin Devenny, who limped off. This allowed 17-year-old striker Benji Casey to make his first-team debut, rounding off an otherwise perfect evening for the visiting side.
